BASE command

The BASE command is used to insert base point for the current drawing settings.

Command Access:

Ribbon : Home > Block > Set Base Point
Menu : Draw > Block > Base point
Command : BASE (or 'base for transparent use)

Command Prompts:

Enter base point <0.0000,0.0000,0.0000> :

Function Description:

The base point is expressed by the current UCS coordinate.
In order to insert the current drawing to another drawing or take the current drawing as the external reference of another drawing, the base point will be taken as the insertion point.
