CUTCLIP command

The CUTCLIP command is used to copy selected objects to clipboard and remove it from drawing.

Command Access:

Menu : Edit > Cut
Command : CUTCLIP
Shortcut : CTRL+X ; Right click on the drawing area, click "Clipboard" option, and then select "Cut" option.

Function Description:

The CUTCLIP command could not create OLE link information, but the content in clipboard could be pasted in documents or drawings as an embedded OLE object (reference to commands PASTECLIP and PASTESPEC). Users could apply objects in drawing to other application programs by cutting those objects to clipboard and pasting them to other application programs. Users could also use command CUTCLIP and PASTECLIP to convert objects.
