Function Description:

The OFFSETGAPTYPE system variable is used to control how to deal with the potential gap between segments when offsetting polylines.

Initial value : 0
Range : 0,1,2

System Variable Value:

0 : extend segment to projected intersection point
1 : fillet lines at projected intersection point. The radius of each arc segment equal to offset distances.
2 : chamfer lines at projected intersection point. The distance from each chamfer of original object to its vertex equals to offset distance.
