Improvement : Interface Reconstruction

The interface reconstruction utilizes the WPF framework along with proprietary technologies, resulting in an enhanced user experience from both visual and technical viewpoints.​

• The upgrade completely refreshes the visual design by reworking the color scheme and proportions. More than 1,500 icons have been redrawn and converted to SVG format, ensuring that they display clearly and smoothly at any size due to their vector-based graphics. Additionally, the theme colors and display effects have been refined, resulting in a sleek, modern interface.
• We have implemented a new WPF architecture, optimized secondary development data interfaces, and eliminated data transmission bottlenecks. The interface is also compatible with ACAD’s library, enabling seamless migration of .NET-based industry software at no cost.

Improvement : Performance

GstarCAD 2026 leads the market with performance improvements that exceed other CAD software, providing a faster and more efficient design experience. Key enhancements include:

• Multi-reference drawing opening (without clipping) optimization: Opening speed significantly improved, with previously lag-prone drawings now opening within 1 minute.
• EXTEND command (Fence/Crossing) optimization: 4.5 times faster than GstarCAD 2025.
• TRIM command (Fence/Crossing) optimization: 2 times faster than GstarCAD 2025.
• Clipped blocks and Xrefs optimization: Drawing opening is now 2.9 times faster and layout switching is 4.2 times faster.
• Block editing preview optimization: Preview generation for commands (BEDIT/REFEDIT/INSERT) is 6 times faster, resolving lag with oversized blocks.
• MIRROR operation optimization: 1.4 times faster than GstarCAD 2025.
• Block creation/explosion optimization: Eliminating freezing when creating blocks with a lot of multileaders; 4 times faster creation for blocks containing high-coordinate entities; 4 times faster explosion of inserted blocks. 

Improvement : DIMCORD

The DIMCORD command has been improved based on user feedback. It now utilizes leader lines instead of polylines, enabling the leader line to move along with the text block when it is repositioned. This change simplifies adjustments to text placement. Additionally, the "Parameters" dialog box has been updated to include options for Scale and Text Size adjustments, as well as settings for Group and Auto Switch. These updates provide enhanced flexibility and usability.​

Improvement : Batch Plot

The new sequential preview feature allows users to preview frames easily. Users can press the spacebar to advance to the next frame quickly by clicking on any frame to start the preview. The frame currently being previewed will be highlighted. When the last frame is reached, pressing the spacebar will exit the preview mode and return to the Adjustment dialog box.

Improvement : Batch Purge (BATPURGE)

The Batch Purge tool has been enhanced to include the capability to remove registered applications, zero-length geometries, empty text objects, and orphaned drawing data.

Improvement : PDF Import

The previous PDF import library has been replaced by the more advanced PDFium library, resulting in enhanced efficiency and stability. This update effectively eliminates crashes and improves the rendering of raster images. Furthermore, it allows for the importation of text as MText with improved recognition, guarantees accurate text width, enhances fill display, and accelerates processing times.

New : Parametric Constraints (Phase 2)

Last year, GstarCAD unveiled Geometric Constraints, and with the launch of GstarCAD 2026, the software enhances its Parametric Constraints by incorporating Dimensional Constraints. This advancement facilitates precise management of object dimensions and proportions. Furthermore, we have introduced the Parameters Manager, which empowers users to create, edit, and organize dimensional constraint parameters, reference parameters, and user variables, thereby offering increased design flexibility and control.

New : DWG Compare

This feature facilitates the comparison of a specified drawing with the current drawing by employing revision clouds to delineate the differences. It permits users to customize comparison settings, import elements from the drawing under comparison, and export as well as bind the resulting data into new snapshot drawings for future reference.

Innovative : Drawing Merge (AUTOMERGE)

After adding drawings, this feature analyzes and splits drawings as needed before merging them via external references. Users can configure settings such as the maximum columns, horizontal and vertical interval, alignment method, and whether to delete the split files at the current drawing's location. Additionally, users can view entity data from the drawings through "File Properties" and export the list of drawings to a .txt file.

Innovative : View Mode Switch

The ENGINEERINGVIEWMODE system variable governs the display settings of the bottom view. When the variable is configured to 0, the bottom view adheres to the current display method, consistent with AutoCAD (ACAD) standards. Conversely, when the variable is set to 1, the bottom view is modified to represent the engineering projection accurately, thereby ensuring a more precise depiction.
